Holding online workshops and in person with evangelistic healing and gospel crusades with partners, leaders and those who share our vision, that will empower people to achieve their God given dreams, talents and abilities which relate God centered spheres of human endeavor to make a difference in this world. Training leaders and holding conferences for development and spiritual growth. We also plan meetings with our partners for updates and planning throughout the year.

Whenever possible, we will visit partner countries in person to understand the needs, support the projects, meet with local leaders and workers, and deliver resources and supplies.

Everything we do should honor God and Jesus Christ. Our work should have lasting value and be done with excellence, because it reflects God's greatness. We will act with honesty, compassion, and love in all we do.

The Holy Spirit gives us special gifts and power to do God’s work (1 Corinthians 12:7–11; Acts 1:8). Only God’s chosen and equipped people can truly carry out His mission.

When selecting staff, volunteers, and board members, our mission is to choose the best people for each role and match them well to their tasks. Everyone serving should have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior (John 3:16) and seek the Holy Spirit for guidance, gifts, and power to do God’s work (1 Corinthians 12:7–11; Acts 1:8). God's work must be done by His chosen and equipped people.

We aim to live out Kingdom principles, especially giving and mutual support. That’s why we support projects that help families and children in the areas of ministry. We believe God will provide financially when His work is done His way.

While money should never come before our calling, we know that sustainable work must be financially sound. So we plan carefully for economic stability, pay our debts on time, and raise funds through ethical means like donations, sales, and investments. We aim not just to cover costs, but to grow and expand our impact.

The Holy Spirit gives gifts and abilities 1 Corinthians 12:7-11. And it empowers you to do God’s work Acts 1:8 God’s work must be done by God’s people, equipped and chosen. Implicit in the fulfillment of our mission is the demonstration of all of the principles of the Kingdom of God, especially that of reciprocity. Therefore, we continually endeavor to give assistance to the projects that assist families and children throughout the world as well as donations to other organizations that share our basic objectives. We believe that God’s work, done according to the principles of His Kingdom, will prosper financially. We cannot serve God and money, so service to God and His call always takes precedence over conflicting considerations of money.

Nevertheless, we recognize that only those activities which are economically viable can continue in our present society, so planning must take into account economic viability.
We also categorically state that the payment of accounts when due is a key ingredient of integrity. We seek to finance our activities by all lawful and morally correct means, including, but not limited to, contributions, sales, and investment income. In planning, we will endeavor to project adequate income for current activities, plus generous surpluses from which we can build and expand.

Meet Ruth Heim

At age 15, I gave my first sermon and ministered to a youth rally. Throughout my youth I ministered in song and preaching in various locations and helped with teaching and other services with the pioneered churches that my mom and dad founded. I remember a lady in my parent’s church we came to visit: She didn’t mention about her spiritual struggles and then she told me I said, “Don’t turn your back against God, you’ve come to far with God to leave.” And she later told me that at that moment she repented of her thoughts and came closer to the Lord. It was then I knew God gave me words of prophecy. Throughout the years, in 1987-1989 my dad David Gutierrez felt a calling to Australia to pastor a Spanish speaking church “The Good Shepherd”. My mom Conchita Gutierrez and I joined the missionary move. It was there that we had a heart for the Australians and saw spiritual revival and awakening happening. People were hungry to know God and the youth to have God in their life in a deeper and real way swept across this nation.

An introduction of Ruth Heim Founder

I was born in Los Angeles, California into a pastoral family of Puertorican background, David and Conchita Gutierrez. I slept, ate, did school work at church. Practically we did everything at church. At age 7 & 8 I had encounters with angels 2 times. One that I literally saw an angel save my brother from drowning in a pool. He was dressed in white with a brilliant shining face and smile. Another that saved my life from being killed by a car. The angel pushed me back and I literally felt a hand push me. At the age of 10, I was filled with the Holy Spirit that they literally had to drag me out of church because I did not want to leave the presence of His glory. At age 15, I gave my first sermon to a youth rally. Ministered in song and preaching in various locations throughout the years. In 1987-1989 My dad felt a calling to Australia to pastor a Spanish speaking church that needed a pastor. Mom and I went. It was there that we had a heart for the Australians and saw spiritual revival awakening happening.

In 1989, I went to Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma and studied medicine Later I changed my major to journalism and telecommunications. I transferred to Liberty University in Virginia and got my BS degree in Public Relations. With the help of my husband I then founded and pastored the first Hispanic church Primera Iglesia Asamblea de Dios in Lynchburg, VA. Many people came from various countries in South America, and we started an ESL program. Throughout this time we held evangelism services in various cities of Virginia and I traveled to California. While pastoring we became co-directors of a missions’ organization called Jubilee World Missions an organization that my father founded. We both started an Elementary school in the landfill area of Managua, Nicaragua with the direction and work of my father David and the board JWM. They had a wonderful Superintendent Sheyla and teachers. We also helped a pastoral couple, the Flores who joined with JWM and we helped build a church.

It was in Virginia where I met the man God had intended for me to marry David in 1992, with a gringo German background blonde and blue eyed man son of a pastor. I knew God had something in store for us both. We then started the first Hispanic church in Lynchburg, VA. My husband and I did evangelism work throughout the state of Virginia. Until David in 2005 was called to pastor a church already in progress in Buena Vista, VA with a retiring pastor. We changed the name to The Gathering Place where we felt led for healing and a deliverance and a Word-based ministry to look at the church Ekklessia, see church in a different perspective, out of the 4 walls and community based with practical teaching. Our family with 2 small toddlers Alan & Matthew grew up in this small town of 6,000 for 15 years.

In 2020 I was packed and ready to go with a team from Lynchburg to Pakistan to hold a Crusade and train pastors and leaders. That week was when Covid had started, and the team decided to postpone the trip. Throughout that time, I continued to make communication with pastors and leaders and had a heart for the tribal people of Pakistan. We provided food, clothing and school supplies. We are now in two tribes and going into others. We hold evangelism outreaches ministry team from the countries. VNG is bringing Jesus to the children and families. That same year we started the ministry of Victory Now Global in VA and incorporating in SC. From 2005-2022, my husband pastored a church in Buena Vista, VA. Good Shepherd Community Church. The members and attendees were like family to us. A small town hidden in the valley. I held many community evangelistic outreaches in the area and nearby cities. where we began a new season from years of pastoring and I continue to hold evangelistic meetings and local outreaches through Victory Now Global. Throughout the years I’ve ministered at evangelistic community crusades in Pakistan and have a heart for the tribal people of Pakistan. I also do ministry days to pastors’ meetings in India who are persecuted for their faith. I oversee the needs of our Kids Club in Haiti and school sponsorship. I continue to minister the power and transforming presence of God through words of discernment, prophecy, purpose and destiny in various church ministries and women’s events and local outreaches.

While in Buena Vista, we always had a desire to help with missions.

Where opportunities arise, I am available for any occasion whether women’s ministry, a special service or missions presentation and gospel, events and conferences. I love to preach the Gospel, to bring the power of Jesus for healing of the body and emotional needs. I’m a fire starter kindling the flame of Jesus and the Holy Spirit to bring purpose and meaning to people's lives. Because from the minute one was born he brought life and purpose into being. I have a deliverance and prophetic ministry to bring people into the knowledge of Jesus and to pursue the purpose of God for their life.

About My Family

While attending Liberty University it was in Virginia at a church Bible study that this Puerto Rican family girl met David the man that God had intended for me to marry in 1992. A gringo German background who loved God and son of a pastoral family. As parents we have 2 young men who we love dearly.  God always fulfills his plan and purpose for a bright future.  We live in SC where someone’s heart is always being blessed, and everything is darlin’.  Our lives are lifted higher with wonderful friends and a family of believers.  Seed is always being planted, and seasons come and go. But harvest grows in due season.  Galatians 6:9
